Nepal is the homeland of world famous Gurkhas and the country of
Great Himalayas. It is a developing mountainous land locked country
situated between China and India with a population of nearly 24
million people. Predominantly being an agricultural country above
81 percent of total population is engaged in agricultural.
Nepal is the land of Mt. Everest the highest peak on earth. It is
a country of high Himalayas, beautiful hills and lush green plains.
The
people of Nepal are as varied as its landscape with their own heritage,
languages and origins. The culture and artistry of the Newars, the
tough mountain climbing Sherpas and brave Gurkha soldiers have all
garnered international reputation.
Nepal is home to an incredible variety of flora and fauna, exotic
herbs and plants as well as an equally diverse collection of rare
animals, birds and butterflies. The climate is as varied as the
people with Arctic conditions in the northern high mountains to
sunny tropical in the southern plains. It is in fact amazing that
so much botanical and zoological diversity can co-exist within a
span of only 250 kilometers.
Nepali is the national language but there are numerous other languages
and dialect spoken within the Kingdom. Foreign languages like English
and Hindi are widely understood in the urban centers.

September-November are the four major seasons of Nepal.
Entry procedures: All visitors except the Indian
must hold a passport and a valid visa. The visa can be obtained
from the Nepalese diplomatic mission and consulate general offices
abroad. And the visa may be issued at the entry points. The visa
can be extended at the immigration office at Katmandu.
