1. Introduction.(History
behind)
Employment
plays a vital role on the economic development of the people.
Thus, employment opportunity has been globalized by the Government
of Nepal to its people through privatization to enhance maximum
employment possibility. Nepal, with its objectivity to grant
equal opportunity for employment to its people at national
and international level has given maximum afford to create
sound working environment among the employment organizations.

Why training required
Training
is a plate form to enhance technical trade skills. As there
have been serious comments and suggestion being received from
abroad companies for supply fully skilled trade workers for
their companies. As a result, due to non availability of skilled
trade workers, the training centers are seen necessary to
undergo training. On the other hand, trained personnel are
offered better salary by the foreign employer.

The Greenland Technical Training Center (P) Ltd. (Training
Provider)
The
Greenland Technical Training Center (P) Ltd. has
been established and registered with the Government of Nepal
on 29th Falgun 2060. The Greenland Technical Training
Center focuses on imparting training of international
labor market level to the trainees. The training center is
fully equipped with training facilities and equipments have
sufficient area for the training purpose. The training center
has formulated and designed the course after thoroughly studying
the national and international labor market's standards. The
training center has highly qualified and expedience instructor
for trade wise activities and provide training on Mason, Steel
fixture, Shuttering carpenter, Building Painter, Plaster/
Tile fixing, Welding, Plumbing, Electrical, Finishing Carpenter
and Scaffolding.
The training center has its own office complex with all facilities,
many training blocks as per the requirements and bath rooms,
toilets and hostel for the trainees.

Proposed area of the Training
The Greenland Training Center with the past
experience and detail studying the demand situation of labor
at national and international circles through the employment
agencies of Nepal has designed the training programs on Mason,
Shuttering Carpenter, Steel Fixture, and Plaster/Tile fixture,
Building Painter Welding, Plumbing, Finishing Carpenter, Electrical
and Scaffolding.
4.1. Goal of the Training
- To
provide basic skills and knowledge for the interested youth
of Nepal.

To provide employment opportunity to the trained personnels,
who will get training at the institute.

To develop the network for information relating to the foreign
employment and employment agency.

To disseminate information to every par of Nepal regarding
the opportunity of employment.

4.2 Purpose
- To
provide employment opportunity to those who are interested
needy.
- To
help the real poor through arranged free technical training.
5)
Output of the Training
- To
give basic skills training and make them able to take any
kind of work on their trade.

To arrange and provide employment opportunity to the trained
personals.

To make them able to work at national and international
level on trades.

At
least 120 persons will have skills and knowledge on Mason,
Shuttering carpenter, Plastering /tile fixing, Scaffolding
and Steel fixture.

At least 90 persons will have skills and knowledge on Building
Painter, Welding, Plumbing and electrical.

It is expected that at least 10 persons who will get training
on various trade will be involved as self employed within
Nepal.

It is expected that at least 80 persons per trade per year
will be employed by the foreign employer.
6)
Target groups for the training
The
targeted area of the training programme is all over Nepal.
The capable and interested to work in Nepal and as well in
abroad shall be the key targeted persons. There is no discrimination
on gender, caste and ethnicity. Consideration and preferences
will be given to those who are from deprived family. The consideration
will also be given to those who approach on recommendation
of certain institutions and employment agencies. |
